BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. The volume of carpet exports from Türkiye to Iraq increased by 35.6 percent from January through December 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and totaled $264.2 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
In the interim, Türkiye's carpet exports to Iraq reached a
valuation of $20.8 million in December 2024, reflecting a decrease
of 2.6 percent compared to the figures recorded in December
2023.
In December of the previous fiscal year, Türkiye's carpet
exportation reached a valuation of $247.4 million, reflecting a
contraction of 3.2 percent in comparison to the figures recorded in
December 2023.
It is noteworthy that within the fiscal cycle spanning 12 months of
2024, specifically from December 2023 to December 2024, Türkiye
achieved carpet exportation valued at $2.8 billion.
