BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. Textile exports from Türkiye to Turkmenistan experienced a slight decrease from January through December 2024, with exports amounting to $13.5 million, which represents a 0.5 percent decline compared to the same period in 2023, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
“Türkiye exported textile products worth $1.7 million to Turkmenistan in December 2024, which is 42.7 percent more year on year," the ministry statement said.
In the interim, Türkiye's textile export metrics for the period
spanning January to December 2024 exhibited a contraction of 0.6
percent on a year-over-year basis, culminating in a total valuation
of $9.4 billion.
“In December 2024, Türkiye's textile product exports reached a
substantial $782.5 million, reflecting year-on-year growth of 2.6
percent,” the ministry statement articulates.
It is noteworthy that Türkiye's textile sector achieved an export
volume of $9.4 billion over the preceding 12-month period, spanning
from December 2023 to December 2024.
