BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 14. The steel exports from Türkiye to the US increased by 13.2 percent from January through December 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and totaled $627.8 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
Türkiye exported $57.7 million worth of steel products to the US in December 2024, which is 31.5 percent more than the same period in 2023.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's steel exports to world markets increased 8.7 percent in the period from January through December 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, reaching $16.1 billion.
“In December 2024, Türkiye exported steel worth $1.4 million, 7.3 percent more than in December 2023,” the information notes.
To note, Türkiye exported steel worth $16.1 billion during the last 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024).
