BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. Türkiye's textile exports to Egypt in 2024 surged by 33.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023, reaching a total of $448.6 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"Türkiye textile exports to Egypt in December 2024 totaled $43.9 million, marking a 41.5 percent increase compared to December 2023," the ministry statement said.
Moreover, Türkiye's textile exports in 2024 totaled $9.5 billion, a slight decrease of 0.6 percent compared to the previous year.
"Türkiye exported textiles worth $782.5 million in December 2024, marking a 2.6 percent increase from December 2023," the ministry statement said.
Over the 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024), the country's total textile exports amounted to $9.5 billion.
