BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. The volume of carpet exports from Türkiye to Turkmenistan increased by 2.1 percent from January through December 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to $5.9 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported carpet products worth $169,022 to Turkmenistan in December 2024, which is 26.7 percent less than in December 2023," the ministry statement said.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of carpet products increased 4.2 percent year-on-year to $2.8 billion from January through December 2024.
"Türkiye exported carpets worth $247.4 million to Turkmenistan in December 2024, which is 3.2 percent less than in December 2023," the ministry statement said.
To note, Türkiye exported carpet products worth $2.8 billion during the last 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024).
