Türkiye's leather exports to France decline in 2024

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. The value of Türkiye's leather exports to France decreased by 8.4 percent in 2024 year-on-year, settling at $68.9 million.

Data obtained by Trend from the Turkish Ministry of Trade shows that last December, this figure amounted to $5 million, a 75.7 percent increase compared to December 2023.

To note, Türkiye's total leather exports last year dropped by 17.9 percent year-on-year to $1.5 billion.

In December last year, the country’s leather exports abroad reached $110.1 million, down 4.6 percent compared to the previous December.

From December 2023 through December 2024, Türkiye’s leather exports to foreign markets stood at $1.5 billion.
