BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Türkiye's textile exports to Iran fell 10.4 percent year-on-year to $309.5 million from January through December 2024, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"Türkiye exported textiles worth $33.5 million to Iran in December 2024, 20.4 percent less than in December 2023," the ministry statement said.
Moreover, Türkiye's textile exports decreased by 0.6 percent year-on-year to $9.4 billion from January through December 2024.
"Türkiye exported textiles worth $782.5 million in December 2024, up by 2.6 percent than in December 2023," the ministry statement said.
The ministry also noted that in the last 12 months (December 2023–December 2024), Türkiye exported textiles worth $9.4 billion.
