BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Türkiye's electronic exports are nearing a remarkable milestone, reaching nearly $6.4 billion in 2024, said Hasan Önal, Head of the Department of E-Export, Digital Marketing, Behavioral Public Policies, and Next Generation Technologies at the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Trend reports.
Önal noted that Türkiye's electronic exports, which were valued at $2 billion in 2022, rose to $5 billion in 2023 and are expected to approach $6.4 billion in 2024.
"The Ministry of Trade targets $8 billion for 2025. By the beginning of 2029, electronic exports will account for 10 percent of traditional exports. I believe achieving this goal is very attainable. Support for e-export is crucial due to high commissions. Retail sales of products manufactured in the field of stainless steel kitchenware are very important for us," he said.
