BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. It is planned to increase the number of production wells at the key block of Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli oil fields in 2024, bp Vice President Jim O'Leary said during the drilling conference in Baku, Trend reports.
"In 2024, 12 production flowing wells will be drilled at ACG, up from 9 in 2023. In 2024, a total of 18 wells will be drilled on the block, with three being water injection wells and two being gas injection wells to improve oil recovery. In 2023, there was six water injection wells and one gas injection well," he noted.
