Trial of Israeli businessmen could disrupt Georgian official's visit to Israel

The Tbilisi City Court will continue the trial of Israeli businessmen detained in Georgia on Friday.

The court moved is questioning the accused, lawyer Archil Kbilashvili told Trend. Zeev Frankel's questioning is underway.

British expert Ben Hanson prepared an expert conclusion in favor of the defense, which will be reviewed on March 16.

Israeli businessmen Roni Fuchs and Frankel were arrested in a restaurant in Batumi on Oct. 14. They are accused of attempting to bribe Haraidze.

According to Israeli media, Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze's visit to Israel scheduled for March 14 and may be disrupted due to the trial.
