E.Huseinli / The inspection of the 12 water cleaning equipment of module type was held in -Alijanli, Garalar, Gudachukhur, Gasimbayli, Muradbayli and Sura villages of Sabirabad region, and Garadonlu, Garadashli, Khoshchobanli, Khubarli, Gebaktala and Javadkhanli villages of Imishli region, Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported.
The population of Sabirabad (6,565) and Imishli (7,493) regions will be provided with the drinking water, after the installation of the new equipment.
The decree by the President Ilham Aliyev envisages providing of the clean water to a range of countries from 20 June 2007, which used water from the Kur and Araz Rivers.
The water supplied to the population (161,500) in 100 villages will be cleaned in compliance with the norms of World Health Organization, after installing the equipment. The work has been completed in Evlakh, Zardab, Kurdamir, Imishli, Sabirabad, Saatli, Salyan and Nefchala regions.
The water cleaning equipment delivered to Azerbaijan was produced in Italy, the US, Germany and Belgium and Turkey. Forty equipments may clean about 20cu m of water daily.
