BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Exports of steel products from Türkiye to Azerbaijan decreased by 6.9 percent to $70 million from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Turkish exports of steel products to Azerbaijan increased by 46.1 percent to $12.9 million in July of this year compared to the same month in 2022.
Exports of steel products from Türkiye decreased by 37.8 percent and amounted to $8.3 billion from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year.
Türkiye exported $1.2 billion worth of steel products in July 2023, which is 27.2 percent less in comparison with July last year.
Moreover, Türkiye exported steel products worth $16 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
