ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 28. Memoranda of further cooperation have been signed in Kazakhstan with German companies such as STUWA Konrad Stukerjurgen and BAUER GROUP in the sectors of drilling rigs, pump production, and water-lifting pipes, Trend reports.
The national company Kazatomprom presented information about the goals and prospects of its import substitution program at a roundtable on "Development and Support of Domestic Manufacturers" in Astana, Kazakhstan, and showcased successful cases of existing domestic manufacturers.
During his speech, Deputy Minister Alibek Jamaouov highlighted the joint efforts with Kazatomprom to increase domestic value-added production and support local manufacturers when purchasing goods, works, and services used in the field of subsoil use.
At the event's conclusion, uranium companies and eight domestic manufacturers signed 20 off-take contracts worth about $4.7 billion.
