BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 21. Cast steel production in Azerbaijan increased by 8.9 percent (up to 352,400 tons) from January through December 2024, year on year, Trend reports.
In the reporting period, the production of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in the country decreased in value terms by 16.3 percent to 1.3 billion manat ($793.9 million) versus 1.16 billion manat ($682.1 million) during the same period in 2023.
