BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 5. A total of 700.71 tons of livestock worth $448,360 were exported from Azerbaijan last year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this is by $234,020 or 34.3 percent by value and 185,76 tons or 20.9 percent less by volume compared to 2023.
A total of $88.4 million worth of livestock was imported to the country during the reporting period, which is $27.3 million, or 23.6 percent less than a year earlier.
Thus, imports exceeded exports 197 times during the mentioned period.
