BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 17. Azerbaijan imported a total of 717.8 tons of propane gas, valued at around $299,000 in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that this figure shows a decrease of around 10.3 tons, or about 1.4 percent, in volume, and a reduction of approximately $54,000, or about 15.3 percent, in value compared to the previous year.
Moreover, Azerbaijan had imported 728.1 tons of propane gas, valued at $299,000 in 2023.
To note, Azerbaijan imported liquefied propane gas from Kazakhstan (715.4 tons, $285,300), China (1.7 tons, $7,100), Germany (0.7 tons, $5,200), and Belgium (0.01 tons, $1,300) during this period.
