ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 4. Askhat Khassenov,
chairman of the Board of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" in Russia’s Moscow,
met with the leadership of PJSC "LUKOIL", Trend reports.
In the course of the meeting, the current status of the
implementation of joint projects, including the development of the
"Kalamkas-Sea — Khazar" field, was discussed.
The parties confirmed their interest in expanding mutually
beneficial cooperation in all areas.
The "Kalamkas-Sea — Khazar" project is a joint initiative of
Kazakhstan and Russia for the development of oil fields in the
Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. The project participants are JSC
"NC KazMunayGas" and PJSC "LUKOIL", each holding an equal 50
percent share.
