BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14.​ Azerbaijan exported a total of 273.6 million kWh of electricity to Georgia from January through February 2025.

Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that the revenue generated from these exports amounted to $15.6 million.

Meanwhile, electricity exports to Georgia decreased by 27.6 million kWh, or 9.2 percent in volume, compared to the same period last year. However, the value of the electricity exports increased by $206,000, or 1.3 percent.

Azerbaijan exported 301.2 million kWh of electricity to Georgia in the first two months of last year, valued at $15.4 million

In total, Azerbaijan exported 296.2 million kWh of electricity abroad from January through February 2025, with a value of $16.4 million. These figures represent a decrease of 316.5 million kWh (2.1 times) and $18.5 million (2.1 times) compared to the same period last year. In the first two months of 2024, Azerbaijan's electricity exports amounted to 612.7 million kWh, valued at $34.9 million.

During the reporting period, electricity was exported from Azerbaijan to Russia, Georgia, and Iran.
