TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 29. Uzbekistan's farms produced 564,100 tons of meat in live weight, 2,057 tons of milk, 1,537 million eggs, 960 tons of wool, 459,700 pieces of karakul skins and 19,100 tons of fish from January through March 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee indicates that compared to the same period in 2024, production increased across several categories: meat (103.6 percent), milk (103.6 percent), eggs (107.2 percent), wool (111.2 percent), karakul skins (102.6 percent), and fish (106.4 percent).
In terms of the distribution of livestock production across farm categories, 5.8 percent of total meat production came from farms, 86.0 percent from dehkan and subsidiary farms, and 8.2 percent from agricultural organizations. For milk, 7.7 percent was produced by farms, 90.5 percent by dehkan and subsidiary farms, and 1.8 percent by agricultural organizations.
These figures reflect the ongoing dynamics in Uzbekistan’s livestock sector, showcasing both regional disparities and overall growth in production.
