BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. Asan Imza issued a total of 161,897 Asan Imza certificates from January through April 2025 to taxpayers following 108,017 applications.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service indicates that a total of 210,269 individuals visited service centers during the reporting period, where 333,849 services were rendered.
Over 111,800 of these were oral services, including answering questions related to tax legislation and administration, while nearly 82,600 were electronic services, such as assistance with the preparation and electronic submission of declarations, reports, and various applications.
The following nine services constituted 90.1 percent of all services provided (excluding oral services and the issuance of documents):
-Submitting declarations (reports) and information on current tax payments to tax authorities;
-Suspension (restoration) of a taxpayer's activity;
-Issuance of receipts for payment of simplified tax, mandatory state social insurance, and compulsory health insurance fees;
-Issuance of Asan Imza certificates;
-Issuance of certificates to taxpayers;
-Changes to taxpayer’s registration data;
-Deregistration of individual taxpayers;
-Registration and re-registration of individual taxpayers;
-Registration (deregistration) of a taxpayer’s business entity (object);
Additionally, nearly 12,200 written requests from taxpayers were responded to, and around 9.3 million informational notifications (letters) were sent in the reporting period. A total of 138 meetings were held with the participation of 1,505 taxpayers, and 1,686 taxpayers received targeted services.
Meanwhile, almost 784,000 SMS messages were sent to taxpayers' mobile numbers as part of preventive information campaigns from January through April 2025.
