TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 24. Uzbekistan produced 15.02 billion cubic meters of natural gas from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistical Committee shows a 2 percent decrease compared to the same period last year (15.32 bcm).
The production of gas condensate also saw a decline, dropping by 8.67 percent to reach 395,200 tons during the reporting period.
In contrast, the coal mining sector showed significant growth. Between January and April 2025, the country extracted 1.77 million tons of coal, reflecting a 33.44 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
However, oil production experienced a decline. During this period, oil production totaled 214,300 tons, a decrease of 11.19 percent compared to the previous year.
