BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Azerbaijan exported gold with a total value of $95.4 million from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the “export review” published by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms shows that this figure grew by a whopping $64 million (three times) compared to the same period of last year ($31.4 million).
In April of this year alone, Azerbaijan exported gold worth $30.2 million, which is an increase of $17.3 million or 2.3 times compared to the same month in 2024 ($12.9 million).
In the first four months of this year, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 18 percent year on year and amounted to $1.1 billion.
