ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 10. During the official visit of Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia, to Kazakhstan, a roundtable was held to strengthen bilateral cooperation in investment, tourism, and technological development, Trend reports via Kazakh Invest.
According to the information, the event brought together representatives from government agencies, investment institutions, business communities, and industry organizations from both countries. From Kazakhstan, Azamat Kozhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Invest, participated in the discussions.
Moreover, participants explored opportunities for collaboration on projects in industry, digitalization, green energy, tourism, and logistics. Both sides recognized significant potential for expanding trade and investment relations and stressed the importance of moving beyond dialogue to concrete action.
In his remarks, Kozhanov highlighted Kazakhstan’s view of North Macedonia as a promising and pragmatic partner for accessing the Balkan and European markets:
“We seek project-based cooperation that creates tangible joint value. This encompasses not only processing industries but also exchanges in logistics, sustainable energy, and digital solutions. I am confident that today’s meeting establishes a solid foundation for new initiatives and lasting partnerships,” he noted.
Minister Mucunski articulated North Macedonia’s strategic intent
to enhance synergies with Central Asia, highlighting Kazakhstan’s
integral position in regional collaboration and its substantial
capacity for synergistic economic initiatives.
At the culmination of the roundtable, both entities articulated a
robust interest in perpetuating their bilateral discourse and
delineated specific initiatives to propel collaborative endeavors
in the imminent future.
