BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. Azerbaijan exported 450.9 million kWh of electricity to Georgia from January through April this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee shows that the revenue from this electricity export volume amounted to $25.7 million.
In juxtaposition to the corresponding timeframe from the
previous annum, the volumetric electricity exports to Georgia
experienced an augmentation of 36.7 million kWh, translating to an
8.9 percent escalation, alongside a monetary uplift of $4.8
million, reflecting a 23 percent enhancement in value.
In the initial quadrimester of the preceding annum, Azerbaijan
facilitated the exportation of 414.2 million kilowatt-hours of
electrical energy, appraised at a monetary value of $20.9 million,
to the Georgian market.
It is pertinent to highlight that within the specified reporting
timeframe, Azerbaijan facilitated the exportation of a cumulative
525.1 million kWh of electrical energy, generating a revenue stream
of $29.1 million, directed towards the markets of Russia, Georgia,
and Iran.
