BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 14. Azerbaijan imported
30,875 tons of gold from January through May 2025, with a total
value of $2.9 billion.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates
that the average import price per kilogram of gold was around $95.2
during the reporting period.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced a total of 1,601 kilograms of gold
from January through June 2025, marking an increase of 597
kilograms—or 59.5 percent—compared to the same period last year. In
addition, the country’s ready gold reserves stood at 196.4
kilograms as of July 1, 2025.

as bars, wire, profiles, sheets, and strips with a thickness of
more than 0.15 mm, regardless of the base.
