BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. Azerbaijan's Baku Metro Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) earned over 54 million manat ($31.7 million) from passenger transport from January through June 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that the revenue represents an increase of 9.98 million manat ($5.87 million), or 22.7 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Moreover, 111.3 million passengers used metro services during the reporting period, marking a slight decline of 1.8 million passengers, or 1.6 percent, from the first half of last year.
