Some 11 companies are representing Azerbaijani tourism potential at the 12th international tourism exhibition in Tbilisi, Azerbaijan Tourism Companies Association Chairman Nahid Bagirov said on April 3.
"The Azerbaijani tourism companies offer Alexander Duma, "Silk Way", "Winy Way" tours to the Georgian operators," Bagirov said.
Bagirov said they also offer an opportunity to visit the Maidens Tower, 5-day tour to the country's places of interest per one person for $320.
At present the Azerbaijan Tourism Companies Association is discussing versions of joint tours - three days in Azerbaijan and three days in Georgia with their Georgian counterparts during the exhibition, Bagirov said.
Joint tours will be additional stimulus to double tourists' flow to both countries.
"The Azerbaijani tour-operators received proposals from Ajara at the moment," he said. "Thus, Azerbaijani tourists can rest on the shore of the Black Sea in summer."
A total of 201 tourism companies function in Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan Tourism Companies Association was formed in January upon initiative of the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry.
