The Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers (ASA) is holding a preparatory work to start courses on method of assessing cars, ASA Coordinator Amil Ismayilov said today.
"At present, Azerbaijan is actively developing lending, in particular car lending, which caused the need to develop such a methodology," Ismayilov said.
He said the courses to evaluate vehicles will be conducted primarily for professionals from local banks and insurance companies.
Appraisal activity in Azerbaijan is regulated by the law "On appraisal activity" adopted in 1995.
