The Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications and Transport Workers Union of Kazakhstan "KAZLOGISTICS" signed a joint action plan for 2014, on further development of the transport and logistics sector of the country.
"Particularly, we are talking about raising the logistics performance index of the World Bank (LPI), the indicator of "international trade" rating of "Doing business" in terms of optimizing the transport documents," the statement of the ministry said.
The report notes that the plans of the ministry and Transport Workers Union of Kazakhstan includes renovation and replacement of road, rail, air, sea and river transport fleets.
In general, the plan consists of 57 priority actions.
KAZLOGISTICS is a single transport public association, which consolidates all transport associations, research institutes and forwarding companies.
