Some $14.2 million in the form of cheap facilities, is to be allocated to the farmers of this province with the aim of renovating agricultural machinery in the province, Economic affairs and planning Minister of Agriculture Jihad in Iran's Qazvin Province Hamidreza Tabasomi said, Trend reports via IRNA.
"Mechanization of facilities have major effect on optimization and renovation of the agricultural machinery," he said. "It will also help promote productivity in this field."
While explaining that stepping towards modern farming depends on improving mechanization's co-efficiency in this field, he said that better protection of the water and soil resources and decrease in production expenses are the main benefits of improving mechanization co-efficiency in agricultural fields.
Tabasomi also reminded that mechanization facilities worth $9.6 million were allocated to the beneficiary applicants in the agricultural field of Qazvin province.
Specifying the mechanization, Tabasomi named tractors, combiners, as well as animal husbandry and greenhouse equipment.
