Some 27 trillion rials (about $642 million) and 900 million euros were spent on construction work as part of 23 gas projects on the eve of the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran (February 1–11), Bahram Salavati, executive director of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, said.
“Seven gas pipelines will be commissioned soon,” Salavati added, Trend reports referring to the National Iranian Gas Company’s website. “Some 8.3 trillion (about $198 million) and 285 million euros were spent for the construction. The implementation of five pipeline construction projects will be launched. Some 1.4 trillion rials (about $328 million) and 418 million euros will be spent for these projects.”
“The construction of nine facilities will be launched soon to increase gas pressure,” the executive director added. “Five trillion rials ($119 million) and 160 million euros were invested in these projects. Moreover, one control room will be commissioned. Some 300 billion rials ($7.1 million) and eight million euros have been invested.”
