A monthly auction with physical delivery for the remaining nine months of 2020, beginning from April 2020, will be held on 9 March 2020 under the gas release program on Balkan Gas Hub EAD trading platform, Trend reports citing Bulgartransgaz.
Every monthly product amounts to 185 469 MWh/month.
The original completed and duly signed registration form and its accompanying documents should be submitted to the Registry Office of Balkan Gas Hub EAD in a sealed envelope marked "Registration Form for GRP" no later than 6 March 2020 to the following address: residential area Lyulin 2, 66 Pancho Vladigerov Blvd., 1336 Sofia, Bulgaria, to the attention of Mrs. Simona Barakova.
Following the successful registration Balkan Gas Hub EAD will expect an Agreement for participation, signed by the successful candidates (with no need of filling in Annex 2 – Declaration) that must also arrive by 6 March 2020, available for download at section Products and Services, GRP Segment at www.balkangashub.bg.
Balkan Gas Hub ЕAD was established by “Bulgartransgaz” EAD in January 2019 for the realization of the concept for establishment of a gas distribution hub on the territory of Bulgaria.
Balkan Gas Hub ЕAD operates trading platforms servicing the needs of the natural gas markets within the Balkan gas hub. In synergy with the physical infrastructure of the gas distribution hub, it provides the prerequisites required for establishment of the first, Bulgaria based, liquid physical and trading gas hub in the South Eastern Europe region.
