Bulgartransgaz EAD owner and operator of Chiren UGS announces Chiren UGS natural gas storage capacity allocation procedure for gas year 2020-2021, Trend reports citing the company.
To take part in the allocation procedure, potential clients must submit a Storage Capacity Application. Application Standard Form is available here
Information on available Chiren UGS storage capacity that can be applied for injection and withdrawal in gas months and gas days is available here
Application can be submitted from 8:30 am on 3 April 2020 by 5:00 pm (local Sofia time) on 10 April 2020 at Bulgartransgaz EAD Registry Office by registered mail or courier service to:

Any Application arrived at the above address by 5.00 pm (local Sofia time) on 10 April 2020 shall be considered received in due time.
Regarding the state of emergency introduced on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria for limiting the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Bulgartransgaz EAD provides an additional opportunity for interested parties to submit their Capacity Applications for Gas Year 2020/2021 signed and scanned, also all annexes and documents required in accordance of the Rules for Access to Chiren UGS to email: [email protected]. Any Application arrived at the above address: [email protected] by 24.00 pm (local Sofia time) on 10 April 2020 shall be considered received in due time.
The applications submission procedure, the requirements to potential clients and the principles and capacity allocation methodology are laid down in the Rules for Access to Chiren UGS in force at the moment of application submission.
According to item 3.1 of the Rules, the minimum storage capacity that any potential client can nominate in the initial storage capacity allocation procedure is 1 mcm.
