Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow at new well (#29) at Arslan field of Ustyurt oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
As a result of drilling and perforation work performed at 3,377 - 3,458 meters, an industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 250,000 cubic meters and two tons of gas condensate was received.
Arslan gas condensate field is located in the Muynak District of Uzbekistan's Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic and it was commissioned in 2015.
Previously it was reported that Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow from the new well #13 at Tumaris field of Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
The company received commercial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 250,000 cubic meters and two tons of gas condensate.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.
