BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. Belarusian engineering and production firm PolymerConstruction is expanding its operations in Azerbaijan, preparing to launch several large-scale projects in the field of drinking water and wastewater treatment, the company’s CEO, Eugene Ivanov, told Trend.
Ivanov noted that following a successful debut at last year’s exhibition, PolymerConstruction is strengthening its cooperation in Azerbaijan and moving forward with the development of multiple facilities.
“The Azerbaijani people are a brotherly nation to Belarusians, so the solutions and technologies we use in Belarus and Russia, we want to implement here in Azerbaijan,” Ivanov emphasized.
He noted that Azerbaijan offers significant potential in water treatment, with opportunities to meet high environmental standards and to conserve resources for irrigation and reuse.
Currently, PolymerConstruction is in the preparatory phase, developing technologies and project documentation for around 5 sites in Azerbaijan, with active construction expected to begin soon.
The official highlighted that Polymer Construction is both an engineering and manufacturing company, managing the full supply cycle and taking responsibility for project implementation. Over the past 24 years, the company has completed more than 1,200 projects, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach.
“Once operations begin, the success of these projects will depend on cooperation between both sides, and we hope for a productive partnership. We plan to present either completed projects or those in the production and construction phase by the next exhibition,” Ivanov concluded.
