By the order of the president of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev, Taleh Hasanov is appointed the head of the SOCAR Department on geology and geophysics, SOCAR told Trend. Earlier this position was held by Kerim Kerimov.
According to SOCAR spokesman, four trusts, parts of the Department will be also turned into Departments and their tasks will be extended. According to some data, two trusts will be established instead of four based on them.
