The Trade with Georgia project is implemented by Center for Economic Policy Studies of Georgia in cooperation with the Produce in Georgia agency, said Head of the agency Mikhail Khidureli, Trend reports citing commersant.ge.
The project aims at supporting SMEs, raising Europeans' awareness of the Georgian market and creating new opportunities for the country.
One of the areas of the project is the promoting online resource trading with Georgia and exploring the opportunities offered by the innovative resource to Georgian business.
The Trade with Georgia Internet platform is an online catalog that allows Georgian companies to exchange information about their products with the widest possible audience and place their services or products in the country's product catalog.
The aim of the project is to provide as many international importers, trade representatives and business organizations as possible with information about Georgian products and services, to maintain contacts between Georgian and foreign entities and companies and to provide interested parties with the access to Georgian export products and services.
Being one of the organizers and supporters of the project, the Produce in Georgia agency is actively involved in the promotion of the site.
At the moment, many Georgian business organizations are already registered in the catalog, and everybody who is registered can distribute and upload information about their company for free.
