Azerbaijan unveils its banks' ranking by authorized capital volume

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) ranked first in terms of authorized capital among Azerbaijani banks in the third quarter of 2024.

The data obtained by Trend from the bank's financial report shows that the volume of the bank's authorized capital for the reporting period amounted to 1.2 billion manat ($705 million).

The second position was occupied by Yelo Bank with a total amount of authorized capital of 378 million manat ($222.3 million).

Xalq Bank took third place with 364.7 million manat ($214.5 million) of authorized capital, PASHA Bank placed fourth with 354.5 million manat ($208.5 million), and VTB Bank closed the top five with 315.8 million manat ($185.7 million).

The total amount of authorized capital of the first three banks amounts to 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion), or 57.36 percent of the total amount of authorized capital of 10 banks of Azerbaijan (3.4 billion manat ($1.9 billion)), or 46.07 percent of the total amount of all banks of Azerbaijan (4.2 billion manat ($2.4 billion)).
