The volume of income received from mobile services amounted to 707.8 million manats in Azerbaijan in January-October 2017, the country’s State Statistics Committee told Trend Nov. 13.
The Committee said that the income of mobile communications sector rose by four percent in the period as compared to January-October 2016.
The population and organizations in Azerbaijan were provided with information and communication services worth 1,411.4 million manats in January-October 2017 that is 5.7 percent more than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, 81.2 percent of revenues received by the sector in the ten months of 2017 accounted for non-state enterprises.
Revenues of the mobile communications sector account for 50.1 percent of revenues of the entire telecommunications market.
