The average download speed on mobile and broadband access in Azerbaijan reached 32.78 Mbps in January 2021, Trend reports referring to Ookla data.
The download speeds on both networks have slightly increased over the past month.
So, the data download rates over the mobile network increased by 4.2 percent in January 2021 compared to December 2020.
The download speed over the fixed broadband reached 22.72 Mbps.
The outgoing internet speed over the mobile network reached 14.84 Mbit/s, decreasing by 1.1 percent.
The download speed of broadband and mobile networks reached 46.74 Mbit/s and 12.49 Mbit/s, respectively, in the world during the reporting period.
In accordance with the rating, Azerbaijan, having risen by two positions, ranked 68th among 140 countries in terms of data download speed via mobile internet and, having risen by three positions, the country ranked 117th out of 175 countries in terms of broadband internet access in January 2021.
