Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 12 September / corr. Trend R.Meshadihasanli / Three military instructors from Turkey will conduct courses on internal security "commandos" at the training center Ala-Too, from 11 September to 28 November, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defence told Trend .
Bakytbek Kulmanbetov, Kyrgyz Minister of Defence, Head of training administration and Colonel Yashar Dilber, Military Attaché of the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek attended the opening of the courses.
Turkish army officers will train Kyrgyz special divisions to special and mountain exercises within three months. Every year instructors of Turkish armed forces organize 12-week courses "commandos" on special and mountain training on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, which involve National Guard Units and the Ministry of Emergency of the country. Such courses are held for 17th time in Kyrgyzstan. More than 800 members of the armed forces of Kyrgyzstan trained through them during this time. Military cooperation between Bishkek and Ankara was launched in 1992 and developed in such areas as training of military personnel and language training, provision of humanitarian and logistics assistance, training to special and mountain exercises, as well as collaboration within the framework of the Partnership for Peace program.
