"Bagly zamana" local company has commissioned an enterprise for the production of detergents in the industrial zone of Ak Bugday district of Turkmenistan’s Ahal region, Trend reports referring to Neytralni Turkmenistan newspaper.
The "Ak nur" branded products are import-substituting products having a great export potential. The Italian innovative equipment has been installed in the enterprise. Up to five tons of detergents will be packed at the enterprise per hour.
Earlier it was reported that a business forum, organized by the Italian Trade Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, was held in Rome in March. Within he event, the Turkmen enterprise "Dowamly bina" and the Italian side discussed the possibility of supplying equipment for the construction of a plant for the production of household chemicals and personal hygiene products.
The production base of the enterprise is expected to be also located in Ak Bugday district of Ahal region. Its design capacity will reach 10,000 tons of products per year.
"Dowamly bina" will specialize in the production of the products made from polyethylene, polypropylene, and, in particular, plastic bottles. The raw materials will be purchased from domestic industrial enterprises.
Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan may be the sales market.
Another local company "MONA", a popular local brand in the segment of hygiene products and household chemicals, is actively expanding its product range. Over 80 types of various products are produced in the household chemistry workshop, commissioned at the enterprise in Ak Bugday last July.
