Iran exported non-oil goods worth nearly $24 billion, excluding gas condensates, in the first nine months of the current calendar year (began on March 20, 2011), increase by 24 percent compared to the same period last year, the ISNA news agency reported.
The goods amounted to 47.3 million tons, increase by 4.12 percent compared to the figure year before.
Gas condensates accounted for around $8 billion of the total exports, increase by 107.1 percent year on year, the report added.
Iran exported petrochemical products worth $11 billion in the first nine months of the current calendar year which ended on November 21, 2011, managing director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said earlier this month.
Abdolhossein Bayat told the IRNA news agency that the country's petrochemical products are exported to more than 60 countries.
Bayat had said earlier that the value of Iran's petrochemical exports is expected to reach $14 billion by the end of the current year, Press TV reported.
Bayat noted that Iran produced more than 40 million tons of petrochemical goods in the last Iranian calendar year.
The country also exported 18 million tons of petrochemical products worth $11.6 billion last year, showing a 26-percent increase compared to two years ago, Bayat added.
