Iran’s non-oil exports including gas condensates registered a rise by 21 percent during the current fiscal year, started March 20, Foroud Asgari, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), said.
The Islamic Republic exported $11.242 billion worth of non-oil goods from March 20 to June 17, 2018, Asgari said, the press office of the IRICA reported June 21.
The country includes gas condensate and some raw hydrocarbon products, like propane, butane, etc. in its non-oil export basket.
In the meantime, Iran’s imports accounted to $9.984 billion, 5 percent less year-on-year, Asgari said.
The official further said that Iran’s trade balance was positive in the 3-month period, adding that the figure stood at $1.258 billion.
Iran’s non-oil exports, including condensates witnessed a 6.6-percent increase during the last fiscal year (ended March 20) and reached $46.93 billion
The volume of the exported goods reached 132.3 million tons in the 12-month period.
The country also imported 38.736 million tons of goods, worth $54.302 billion during the 12-month period, which is 24.31 percent more year-on-year.
