BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is open to holding elections in Ukraine, Zelensky said during a meeting with US President Donald Trump, Trend reports.
Zelensky added that he agrees to hold elections only after a ceasefire.
"Yes, of course, we are open to elections. They must take place in safe circumstances. We need to do some work in parliament, because elections cannot be held during war. But we can ensure safety," he said.
