British police have arrested 15 members of the cabin crew of a South African Airways (SAA) plane after 50 kilograms of cannabis were detected in baggage, customs authorities at London's Heathrow airport said Tuesday, dpa reported.

The drugs, worth an estimated 150,000 pounds (208,000 dollars), were found on a flight coming in from Johannesburg and seized by officers of the UK Border Agency, a newly established force set up to control smuggling and illegal immigration.
