BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 11. Türkiye reduced its steel exports to Georgia from January through August 2023 by 12 percent year-on-year to $107 million, said Turkish Trade Ministry, Trend reports.
Türkiye reduced its steel exports to Georgia by 14 percent in August year-on-year, to $16 million.
Also, Türkiye's exports of steel products decreased by 36 percent from January through August 2023 year-on-year, reaching $9 billion.
Moreover, Türkiye exported $1.4 billion worth of steel products in August this year, down 25 percent from July last year.
Thus, Türkiye exported steel products worth $15 billion in the last 12 months (from August 2022 through August 2023).
