BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Türkiye reduced its steel exports to Germany by 8 percent to $639.9 million from January through September 2023 year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of the Turkish Trade Ministry shows that Türkiye's exports of steel products to Germany decreased by 8.5 percent in September to $66.6 million year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Turkish exports of steel products decreased by 34.9 percent from January through September 2023 to $11.1 billion year-on-year.
Türkiye exported $1.4 billion worth of steel products in September this year, down 21.4 percent year-on-year.
In addition, Türkiye exported steel products worth $15.1 billion in the last 12 months (from September 2022 through September 2023).
