BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Türkiye reduced its exports of steel products to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 14.2 percent from January through September 2023 year-on-year, to $62.1 million, Trend reports.
The data from the Turkish Trade Ministry said the country reduced its steel exports to the UAE by 28 percent in September year-on-year, bringing it to $8.2 million.
Moreover, Türkiye's exports of steel products decreased by 34.9 percent from January through September 2023 year-on-year and amounted to $11.1 billion.
In September this year, Türkiye exported steel products worth $1.4 billion, 21.4 percent less than in August last year.
Meanwhile, Türkiye exported steel products worth $15.1 billion in the last 12 months (from September 2022 through September 2023).
