BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Türkiye increased exports of steel products to China from January through October 2023 by 32.9 percent year-on-year (to $31.6 million), Trend reports.
The data of the Turkish Ministry of Trade shows that Türkiye increased exports of steel products to China by 90.1 percent in October 2023 bringing it to $2.2 million year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Turkish steel product exports decreased 32.6 percent from January through October 2023 to $12.4 billion year-on-year.
Türkiye exported $1.3 billion worth of steel products in October this year, down 3.1 percent year-on-year.
Thus, Türkiye exported steel products worth $15 billion in the last 12 months (from October 2022 through October 2023).
